I was just surfing the net and I found this site being advertised.. as bored as I was I decided to sign up, check out what the place is all about, I have not much better to do in my spare time it appears.
You can call me Wenona, or Win.. or what ever you care to call me, doesn't matter much to me, as long as it's not insulting Well yeah, im living in a haunted apartment building, so I thought maybe I could talk about some of the stuff I experience here, maybe I can share some new knowledge, maybe learn some things!

Thanks for the warm welcome! Sorry I havent been around much, but as i said.. this apartments weird, and I have an excuse that ties in with that, and excuse why I havent been back that is. I havent had time to do a lot of research, so maybe you can help me out, since you seem to be a minor expert on this kind of stuff as far as i've read. So, can a ghost, phantom, or demon mess with a buildings electronics? Like lights, TVs, computers, even alarms!

To start, are building has a high speed connection, I have yet to find out what kind.. I think I hear somebody say DSL, but.. Im not sure. Are internet goes out for weeks at a time, sometimes, and they've had professionals from the company to come out and fix it, but it hasn't been repaired yet. All I know, is it's not a signal problem, I was just wondering if a building was haunted, is it possible that the signal could be interrupted? Or is it just a mechanical flaw they have yet to figure out? because it keeps happening, it happens so much I dont even pay for the stuff anymore, thats why I havent been on. But thats not even it, my computer loves to turn off by itself.. then oddly turn back on in the middle of the night, i've also had a few happenings with my PC that I consider very odd, and possibly even supernatural related. Since im running a screwy windows pc, I though it could possibly be just my computer, so i've taken it in and even had people payed to come in and look at it for me. It's in perfect working condition, nothings wrong with it, one guy even had it for a week and said he wasn't able to find anything, this is all costing me big money btw. And im not even going to begin with are TV, at first I thought it was the wiring, but it's not, only some devices seem to act up, like TVs and computers, and imagine this, alarms! The alarms been set off in my apartment more times then I care to remember, and this wasn't done by a living being as far as security knows, it's really interesting.. for a while I was almost for d**n sure it was all just nutsty wiring and stuff, but I had a few other physical and personal experiences in this building I would also like to share, and possibly learn from advice.

ok yes, if your place is haunted or your being bothered by supernatural phenomina yes the electrical things can be messed with and i know what your going through as i've had it happen to me as well . where i had moved in there had been a satanic cult leader living in the apartment i moved into and one kid had disappeared that had been staying with him the kid was in his late teens. and another guy had got his head bashed in by the cult leader and had been in a coma in the hospital for several months but finally pulled thru. but anyways it was all in the local news and i knew all about it but they arrested the guy and he was in prison so all that was over and done with when i moved into the place. i wasn't in the apartment long when my lights would flicker or go off and then come back on later (and it wouldn't be a fuse) my cable would go off and i'd call the cable company and they wouldn't find anything wrong. electritians came out and couldn't find anything wrong and the cable company couldn't find anything wrong either. i knew what was going on though so i'd light a holy candle and sprinkle some holy water around the place and say a few prayers. all would be well til the next go round. i didn't have a computer then and since then i have moved from that place and to another state and now have a computer as you can see ....and have had it shut of and back on while i was trying to help someone online .. and then there's always wierd voices over the phone and on computers.. haven't run into that yet.. let me see if i can find you some things to tell if your place is haunted. as i'm not an expert on this...

Or is it just an over active imagination? Have you been watching too many scary movies? In our work and research we have encountered many families who truly believe that their dwelling is haunted. Upon investigation, we find that they are not suffering from haunting phenomena, but either an over active imagination, or some other psychological problem.

The following questions should be answered to the best of your ability:

Have you or anyone in your family ever dabbled in occult practices? These include playing with a Ouija board, holding seances, visiting a psychic for a psychic reading, tarot cards, tea leaf reading, etc?
Do you have strange dreams, thoughts that aren't your own?
Are there unusual cold spots in the house? An example would be a room that is normally warm, and then suddenly becomes cold? Then warm again?
Do pets in the house act strange in any way? For instance, staring off into space at something, or appearing frightened for no apparent reason?
Are there any unusual sounds that can't be logically explained? This may include pounding or knocking sounds? (This is one of the most mis-interpreted factors when dealing with a possible haunting. Many sounds come from logical sources, i.e. hot water pipes, house settling, something falling or being knocked over by a pet, furnace noises, etc.) These must all be ruled out.
Do you find you and family members are easily agitated, and perhaps argue more than usual?
Do you witness shadows, figures, movements from the corner of your eye? From your peripheral vision?
Are objects suddenly found to have gone missing and then reappear? (An example is leaving your car keys on the table, then unable to locate them? Later you return and they are right there where you had left them? )
Have you been touched by an unseen hand?
Do you hear whispering, or talking? Is the whispering or talking understandable?
Do you feel frightened in your home for no apparent reason?

Answering yes to one of these questions doesn't necessarily mean your dwelling is haunted. But answering yes to 3 or more of them (depending on which 3) might mean there is something going on in your home that shouldn't be ignored.

The only true way to know for sure would be to contact us, and discuss your particular situation with us.
